A traveler from Ufa has invented a portable stove that can charge electronic devices from a campfire. The Tengu project introduces a gadget capable of charging smartphones with a USB connection. The visionary behind this invention is Aidar Khayrullin. Together with his partners, the founder plans to launch the production cycle of equipment that will be valuable for travelers.

Technology Overview

The technology involves a rugged mobile camp stove equipped with a full-fledged thermoelectric generator to produce electricity from flames. Aidar Khayrullin claims that the device incorporates technology similar to the charging system of the Mars rover, Curiosity.

How It Works

To operate the mechanism, gather twigs and kindle them in the mini stove. The self-sustaining generator converts heat into electricity autonomously, ensuring high reliability and efficiency. A medium-powered smartphone can be charged in less than 2 hours. Additionally, the stove can be used to heat water for hot beverages.

Long-lasting Energy Solution

The thermoelectric module stores and supplies the necessary energy. There is no equivalent to this device that can fully charge a phone. The lifespan of this device is estimated at 50 years.

The project is not yet in mass production and requires financial support from investors. Winning two grants underscores the innovation of this invention, aimed at solving the issue of generating electricity during outdoor adventures.
