DEL CREDERE AGENT — an agent who, for an additional commission, guarantees the principal that the buyer will pay for the goods. The agent assumes the credit risk of the buyer's default but is not liable if the buyer refuses to pay due to the principal's breach of contract or a dispute over the price.
